Husqvarna entered the motorcycle world in 1903 with the production of their single-cylinder four-stroke machine, later followed by the four-stroke, two-cylinder Moto Reve in 1909. Their first competitive endurance victory came in 1916, and in 1919 Husqvarna released the first bike made entirely by them, developing and building the engine themselves.

Modifying their 175cc two-stroke "Dream Bike", Husqvarna created the 75kg "Silverpill" in 1955. Powerful, yet light and agile enough for younger riders, the Silverpill remained the youth choice for 10 years. Today, with over 70 world titles and 20 European titles, Husqvarna remain one of the top choices for Enduro or off-road racing.
